Our baby is 2 months old

My how the time flies but still it doesn't seem like it's moving all that fast. He's such a happy little man though. He's starting to figure out that those things that keep flailing in front of him are actually attached to his body and gave himself his first arm hickey last week. We took him to his first concert last week and people were amazed at how quiet he was considering how loud the music and cheering was. I'm guessing he couldn't really make out Allison and Ivan dancing on stage but he was loving all the lights and just the whole experience and it was just a complete heartwarming experience being out as a family.

Sunday was an anniversary of sorts as it was then last year that I proposed and we started our journey together. We didn't get to have the super-romantic dinner and evening out that I know she wanted but we did get out without the kids and it was very nice. We saw Employee of the Month and it was very cheesy and silly but it did make us laugh out loud a several times. I realize everyday how lucky I am to have met and married my best friend.

So You Think You Can Dance???

There was no doubt. Last night we went and saw the best concert I've ever been to. I never could really get into the American Idol stuff but seeing all my favorite dancers on stage was just too awesome for words. We had very decent seats but alas, we were'nt sure if cameras would be allowed so we left ours home. It was incredible to realize how tall some of the guys really were compared to the girls and Donyelle looked absolutely beautiful. My favorite lady though is Allison and I screamed my head off when her and Ivan did their contemporary and smooth hip-hop routines. They did switch a few things up though and there were several original numbers that were choreographed by other members of the top ten. The Krumping was off the chain and it was even more awesome because Ivan danced in Travis' place. They did this sort of swap a few times when someone was scheduled to dance solo right after the performance of one of our favorites that they should be in. My major dissappointment was that Benjelle didn't do the Cha Cha that we all loved so much. However, we did get to see Tranji in full effect and it was hilarious. The chemistry between Benji and Donyelle, Travis and Heidi and Ivan and Allison just flowed off the stage and encircled everyone in the audience. You just felt happy all the time when they were on stage. It was an incredible show and we think we'll make it a yearly event as long as they keep doing the tours after the season.

Where has the time gone...

I can't believe it's been almost three weeks since my last update. I doubt there is anyone waiting on bended knee to hear what I have to say though. I'm still enjoying fatherhood and being a newlywed and all that comes with it. No relationship is all candy canes and gum drops though. I'm having a case of the terrible ones, you know those first few months when the baby wakes up in the middle of the night and daddy just rolls over and taps mommy on her shoulder. I am usually better on the weekends though and I will have to do a little better pulling my weight around the house too. I love this woman though and everyday I thank god that she puts up with me. The full time baby thing is new to me since I didn't experience it with either of my other two boys but I am definitely loving it and loving mommy all the more for everything she is and everything she does.

We miss all of you guys and hope to get to posting more often.
