New friends and Old friends

One week, seven days and I'll be a happily married man. Very very happily married. And if you've been reading my blog you'll have already heard my HWM story. This is a sort of very short and quick redux from an interesting chat session I had with an old female friend who T knows and with whom the flirting has often gone way beyond what I would post on the blog. Again we both chat with her and we both enjoy the flirting sometimes but not everytime as evidenced below. The names have been left out to protect the guilty and the guilty..hehe In true story telling form I'm in Red text and she's in Blue text.

you were really really mean to me last week

i blew up because you put your needs before hers and i felt like she wasn't being fully taken care of you were mean to her, i think you are a little greedy sometimes

you're probaby right...that's the thing...i know that you're right a lot of times and it hurts...really hurts...me and T , we are doing awesome, better than ever before...and i should have included her too...but i was stupid and greedy and didn't , the teasing was fun but as for me and T, we were and are doing so great,

i did not mean to hurt you but i wanted you to understand that it could hurt her if more I liked you too much and not in the just friends way

well i definitely wouldn't want to hurt you either. there is nothing and no one that can come between me and her. She is my heart and my life and though the fact there I can sometimes find myself attracted to other women, she's the woman i'm meant to spend the rest of my life with and I know that and knew it from shortly after we met

i know that also just from your words like this and if i keep our friendship in mind and that, I know that we can continue to be good friends.

can i ask how you knew that shortly after you met her

we built a connection before we met, i guess somewhat like you and i have here....it was easy to be completely open with her and we shared like we'd known each other forever and would never have to worry about our darkest secrets getting out or the other not liking us because of them
i thought she was beautiful from day one and even though at that time i wasn't that attracted to thicker women, our connection went so far beyond the physical that it never was a factor...it just always felt right

that is so nice what you say about her but if she wasnt exactly your type then what would happen if someone more your more type came along

oh and i'm not worried about finding someone that meets my exact physical type...i found someone that is my soul mate and lover. I fantasize on occasion as most men do i'm sure of the others that I'd wanted or chased through the years...but no one else will claim my heart, it belongs to her and has even longer than she realized at first

really how long have you known that she was it

july 22nd of last year

you even know the date why then?

that was the second time we met in person....we'd known each other since february and had grown very close by may and met in june and i just felt like we would always be with each other somehow by then, i didn't know if it meant as man and wife or as just very good friends but I knew that we would always be together somehow.

When we met again in July, I knew that she was the one.

As with most chat sessions, punctuation and grammar go completely out the window but what is left is the same love and adoration that I've felt for my soon-to-be bride since that day in July.

6 Things (tagged by Puffy)

Here are the rules:
1. Reveal six weird facts/things/habits about yourself and then tag six people.
2. Leave a "You're Tagged!" comment to let the people you have tagged know they have to reveal six things (or the entire blogosphere will explode and it will be their fault).
3. Leave a comment HERE to let me know when you have completed your mission.

Ok the first one should be easy........

1. I have done only two other meme's or tags that have been sent my way and one of them was by Puffy. So I guess you got me twice.

2. I have to clothes piles in my room. One hamper contains dirty clothes, nothing strange about that. The other hamper though contains clean clothes. Yep, I take them right outta the dryer and dump em back in a hamper and then pick what I want to wear each day from my clean clothes hamper. (That will obviously be changing)

3. I normally eat lunch. That's it. No breakfast, No dinner, just lunch and it's not because I'm not really hungry, just too lazy to cook. (another thing that's already changed)

4. For Weltek *grin* my body seems to know when I get to work. It's like clockwork, I get in the door and within 10 minutes I've got to "take a conference" (yes, that's code). If I stay home or it's the weekend, my body doesn't care too much but as soon as I hit the office, the countdown begins, every day.

5. For MM , for the first year I lived in my house, I couldn't masturbate in the house, I could have sex in it but just couldn't masturbate. In tribute to MTW, I could other places just not in the house. I can't even come up with a logical reason why but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

6. I have a tendency to overshare, see #'s 4 and 5 for example. If asked the right question, I'll usually tell you whatever it is you want to know provided it's not someone elses secret.

I have no idea who hasn't been tagged and I dont normally tag people either. Instead of 6 I'll just tag one. If she's reading, I'll tag my buddy the Butterfly Queen.

Happy Easter

Since I'm not so good at the updates and this was just too funny to pass up, I figure I'd get a jump on Easter. I had a good weekend but wanted to take a poll. How many other people get off on friday, go home and then never leave the house again until Monday morning when it's time to goto work? *raises hand*
Oh follow up question...... Is that weird?

Oh yeah and this is what I want to be my new siggy. *grin*

Yipee

Two great things happened today.

One: I got to see my boys for the first time since the great Valentines Debacle of 2006. In other words since I told baby-momma that I'd watch the kids so she could have a Valentines Date but only if the kids could stay with me and T who was in town at the time. She said no, so I said no and I hadn't seen the boys since. Today was Shawn's birthday and he had a great time. We had cake and he got some games for his gamecube. Problem was in order to get them to focus more on learning games with the VSmile and books and such, baby-momma had put the gamecube in the closet and when we took it down to plug it back in, it wouldn't stay on.

Soooo, in addition to the Walmart giftcard I'd gotten him so he could buy his own games, we ended up going to the mall and I got them another gamecube and few new games to go with. First thing Shawn asked when I got to the house was how T was (they didn't know anything about the weekend) and mentioned how D missed talking to her. He used to call her Tawa.

Anyways, here are my lovelies at the mall while I was buying the new gamecube.

And number two.......

I finally downloaded the pics from last week.

Yes she said there would be no pics but I managed to snap off a few of my wonderful night out with Arkie. I not only got to see her once but actually twice last week and we had a ball. The first pic is from Tuesday night when we ate at BocaDiBeppo and talked for nearly 4 hours.

Thursday, we started the night out by eating at Joes Crab Shack and the food was delicious. We talked about everything under the sun and just life in general.

There may have been a little smut talk but I promise I did not give Arkie crabs. *snort*

After dinner we headed over to GrahamStation in Nasvhille. This place is awesome. There are several clubs all in one building and one admission fee gets you into all the clubs. We spent most of the night in the Karoake bar though and the people working there were a hoot. They would sing backup for the people doing Karoake and during breaks when no one else was singing they would sing with their pretend guitars and wigs and all kinds of different outfits that gave it a very karoake/comedy club feel.

I did get up and sing "I walk the line" for my baby while Arkie let her listen in on the phone. I had a few drinks so I was bold enough to get back up and sing "Roses" by Outkast and "Suspicious Minds" by the King himself. I tried, I really did to get Arkie up on stage but she said there wasn't enough alchohol in the place to make that happen. We checked out another of the clubs where the women danced on the bar and once again I tried to get her up on the bar. Well , I know Arkie aint that shy but I gave her a pass and told her next time I'm slipping her a roofie *grin*. We stayed out till a bit after midnight and had just a total blast.

Of course I get a little camera happy and so Arkie showed me her appreciation for all the photos.

Huge Hugs for all our friends

T got discharged yesterday and is happily back home and comfortable. We most definitely appreciate everyones concerns and good vibes. All of you do mean the world to us.

And in other news, my little boy is growing up. Today is his 9th Birthday. His mom was nice enough to let him call me this morning so I could wish him a Happy Birthday and who knows, maybe I'll even get to see him though I'm not counting on that one. I know that it helps him alot to be able to at least talk to me from time to time and eventually I think mom will come around and get on the "I'm getting married, I'm not abandoning the kids" train. She's always known that no matter what our differences , whenever she needed me she could call me and I'm guessing that knowing that I wont always be there could be hard for her but she should know that I'll always be there for my boys and if I can help her when she is in need I would try but T , Syrenboy and the baby are my new priorities and will come first.

Good vibes for my Love

It's never easy being far away from the ones you love. It's even harder when they get sick or have medical issues. I dont know how many people have seen the Dairy Queen commercial where the man and his pregnant wife exchange dreams and the man is sitting in the stirrups in labor yelling "You did this to me." Well today is one of those days I wish I could switch places with my baby. This pregnancy has been tough on her all around from the emotional changes to the physical anguish and upset stomachs but last night she was feeling so awful that it was killing me that I couldn't do anything more to help or make her feel better.

Around 1am I think she told me she felt so bad she was going to have her dad take her down to the Emergency Room. They both called me this morning to let me know that she may have appendicitis. That's most definitely not what we were wanting to hear with her 4 months pregnant and us living so far apart. She's doing ok though and they said the baby is fine but if they have to operate they will have to do a CT Scan which has the potential of having long term effects on the baby. We are hoping that it doesn't come to that but are definitely open to well wishes and prayers. I'll update as soon as we know more about where things are headed.

***UPDATE: ***
Because my baby is very quick to check things out when she doesn't feel well they caught the bacterial infection in her appendix before it could become full blow appendicitis. This is good news is that they were able to treat it with antibiotics and she should be able to go home today or tomorrow. We're very relieved because it means no CT Scan which had the potential of causing Leukemia in the baby.

She's resting more comfortably in her hospital room and waiting to eat now. They wouldn't let her have anything water, food nothing from midnight until they reran the bloodwork so my baby is hungry.

I want to thank everyone for their well-wishes and prayers and I can't wait till she is here by my side permanently. I know that being without me the last few days was much harder on her than me and it wasn't easy on me at all. Nothing like having a loved one ill and not being able to do anything even as simple but profoundly helpful as just holding their hand.

Latest Update
Everything looks good and we expect her to be released tomorrow to go home. They listened to the baby's heartbeat again tonight and everything is good there as well. The biggest problem today was simple boredom. I spoke with her most of the day while not even pretending to work and then again this evening but it's still not quite like being there.

Thanks again to all our wonderful friends here.
