Thin Walls

Oh wait, there really aren't any walls in my part of the office, just low height cubicles.

Sooo...I'm talking to one of my customers who just got married this year and me him are actually pretty good buddies outside the office too. They take pretty good care of me whenever I got to San Diego and I take equally good care of them when they come here for class or whatever. Forgetting how anyone can pretty much hear anything I say around here, I tell him "So did I tell you I'm engaged?" The answer of course was no cause I haven't told a lot of people as we haven't done the ring thing yet and with my lifestyle as it has been the last few years, I wasn't ready to just drop that news on most yet.

Me and Rick continue talking and all of a sudden I hear over the wall, "Steve, did you just say you're engaged." No need to do a public announcement anymore, Cindy411 will have it all over the office by the end of the day. Of course, they can hear everything I say over here so when GloriaTimes&Gazzette heard it the first time, she called Cindy411 to see if she'd heard the same thing and they congregated in her cube which was closer to mine to listen and see if I said more. Well of course, I was joking with Rick that it was his fault I was engaged and before I got the word out again, they were both around the corner staring me in the face wide-eyed. Of course, they wanted to know how it happened and stuff like that. AND, they know that I've been swinging for years (actually Cindy411 found out when I accidently turned in a reciept for condoms and baby oil after a recent trip, that was a pretty hilarious story all in itself) so they wanted to know what was going to happen with all that. That was one of the reasons I kinda wanted to ease people into what was happening with me but T and I love each other and we have a comfort level with both the physical act/pleasres of sex and the emotional act of making love that has been there since day one. I had preferred to keep that information somewhat low-key though around the office and thankfully only a few people actually know. It's not that I'm really ashamed of it but I am the type that does care what people think about me and I try so very hard to let people know that I'm a standup guy. I dont want our sexual habits to make them think less of that and there really is no reason that they should, but we all know that this is simply not the case most of the time.

Those activities will definitely slow quite a bit as we merge and are able to be together all the time but I think we both will still enjoy what those in the lifestyle call a little *strange* every once in a while.

So the word is out, the office knows but we both still have to work on the 'rents. Her dad, my mom. Not looking too forward to those conversations but they will happen as will we.

Think next July in Vegas cause that's where we expect to be. Knockers, dust off that license cause I think we're hoping you might do us the honor.
