I Saw Santa .....
Well he wasn't kissy mommy under the mistletoe but imagine my surprise when I pull up to the stoplight and who's next to me in a red BMW looking over his naughty/nice list. It's old St. Nick. If this guy isn't working a store somewhere he definitely should be. The pic is craptacular because I only had my cell phone with me and it was rainy and gray but let me tell you, he was a dead ringer.

Cool!
One time, when the kids were younger, we were driving around on Christmas eve looking at lights. Well, we turned a corner to go down the next street and what do we see? There was a guy dressed as Santa sneaking out of the door from one house to go to the house next door! He was all dressed up with a sack of presents and everything!
The kids definitely thought he was the real thing! One of them asked where the reindeer were. We said he probably parked the sled in the backyard to hide it. We then told them we had to hurry home to sleep before he gets to our house.
*sigh* I miss them being little.
Cute Nutzy - I commented on this but on the wrong post and I have no idea how to move or delete my comment so now it's looks silly sitting underneath my Happy Holidays post.

No we didn't hear about any thieves on the news that night. From what I recall, there was a lady waiting for him at the house next door.
He also stopped and waved at my kids saying Merry Christmas. My kids were all excited, we even rolled the windows down so the kids could see him better. The two houses were all lit up like the Griswolds too!
Oh! Have a safe trip & say hello to syren for me!
