What song do you have stuck in your head?
I Walk the Line
By John R. Cash
Recorded 4/2/56
I keep a close watch on this heart of mine
I keep my eyes wide open all the time.
I keep the ends out for the tie that binds
Because you're mine, I walk the line
I find it very, very easy to be true
I find myself alone when each day is through
Yes, I'll admit I'm a fool for you
Because you're mine, I walk the line
As sure as night is dark and day is light
I keep you on my mind both day and night
And happiness I've known proves that it's right
Because you're mine, I walk the line
You've got a way to keep me on your side
You give me cause for love that I can't hide
For you I know I'd even try to turn the tide
Because you're mine, I walk the line
I'll dedicate this song to my baby since I sang it last night at Karaoke for her and I never would have known it's existence if she hadn't made me watch that movie. I saw the whole thing, someone else I know fell asleep in my lap at least three times during it. I also sang Purple Rain by Prince last night. It was the first time that I've not been on the road and gone out anywhere by myself in quite a while. Next time she comes down I'll take her to the club and sing it for her again.

can you videotape it for me?
Oh how sweet!
Right now, a damn Barry Manilow song is still stuck in my head from yesterday! I blame Zombs.
I watched Walk the Line last week and have had Ring of Fire in my head ever since.
L ~ I'll see about that videotape...you might like my Black Elvis better
Nutz ~ I like Barry Manilow but only ever listened to him when I was depressed and I haven't been that depressed in years
Sonya ~ It was a good movie, I wasn't really interested in seeing it at first cause I didn't know much about him and figured all he sang was country. I bought the movie for T though and actually enjoyed it and instead she was the one that fell asleep a few times.
I hate to be a disenter here, but I was disappointed in the movie. And my disappointment wasn't probably anything that the movie could have changed. My impression from the movie was that June wanted absolutely nothing to do with Johnny. I thought his actions were sexual abuse. I kept waiting to see a spark in her heart. I realize that she was very sensitive to the times and the public's perception of her but I was hoping to see some longing, some spark. I didn't see any. It was more like, to me, she just gave in so he wouldn't kill himself with drugs and such.
She was brilliant in the role, though. That I'll say!
And I didn't much care for him in the movie (sorry).
I'm a loser & have not seen Walk the Line. *stamps forehead with L*
I loved the movie and I'm not a big Johnny Cash fan. I even made DH watch it and he liekd it too.
I'm with Butterfly Queen, I wanna see a video!!
