Our Weekend

Hey Carey *grin*

Our company did arrive late Friday night and we had such a blast sitting around recalling stories from OT and our last meeting last year. Before they got here though me and T went down to Pride and tried to catch Kimberly Locke and Frenchie Davis in concert. Unfortunately after driving all the way downtown and circling several blocks trying to find a spot to park that wasn't too far, the concert was cancelled. We had some pretty good storms and rain over the weekend fortunately and unfortunately. Friday the winds from the storm apparently collapsed the stage and all the evening events were cancelled. That was ok though as Syrenboy called and was ready to come home and it would be a 45 minute drive to pick him up. He was staying with me ex and my other two little boys. Imagine that, actually 3 months ago, we couldn't imagine that. The changes in the relationship with my boys and their mom has been just another amazing bright spot in our relationship.

So we pick up Syrenboy and head home stopping off at evil Wal-Mart to pick up some breakfast items and other things we needed along the way. I was a bit nervous because I was expecting Assy and her GF anytime and was afraid we wouldn't get home in time. Turned out we had plenty of time as weather and karen's careful driving didn't get them in to us till near midnight. K was a huge surprise for both of us. When they first started dating the pics we saw of her made her look very very butch and I was a bit scared of meeting her, thinking she might put me over her lap and spank me (and I might like it *grin*). Instead the first thing she did was give me a big ole bear hug. She is very funny and sweet and kind and we all just had a great time chatting about different things before it got too late and sleep called. I left a few presents in their room that I knew they would appreciate *wink*.

Saturday morning we planned on going down to Pride and taking in all the activities but T woke up in excruciating pain. We weren't sure what was going on and we were a bit worried so I dropped Syrenboy off with my best friends who were expecting him anyway and came back home prepared to take her to the hospital. She's the ultimate trooper though. By the time I got back home she was feeling a little better and definitely wanted to at least go down and take in a bit of Pride. So we all hopped in Stevie(K's nickname for Assy) and K's car and headed downtown. We stopped off at Johnny Rockets at had some lunch while watching the staff dance. They do that at least once an hour I think and it's just too cute. For all the storms and clouds that had been rolling in and out the previous night, Saturday was pretty nice. It was hot but we got cloud cover every once in a while which was needed since T is very very pregnant these days. I kept waiting to get punched out at the festival because the ladies kept pointing out women who were showing their pride by wearing pasties or just body paint and telling me to snap pictures. Those will be on her blog eventually *grin*. It was defintiely a great time and made all the better by the awesome company we had. Did I mention already that K is just hilarious? She has a great sense of humor and her and Assray get along so well and just look so happy together. We didn't stay too too long though because the walking and heat were pretty hard on T. When we got home we were all so tired from the heat that we just sacked out for a bit. T started to hurt again so to be safe I took her to the hospital and they checked her out. She was having pre-mature labor and the doctors gave her a few shots to stop that from continuing but it made for a long night as me, Syrenboy and T were at the hospital till nearly 3am sunday morning. She felt much much better Sunday but unfortunately it cut into our time with Assray and K and we told them they definitely have to come back and visit again soon.



Our due date is August 26th but I'm pretty sure that this little one is going to come early. How early, we dont know yet.
