Taboo

What an interesting word and what an interesting name. What makes something Taboo? Why is that people are always curious about it? I dont know either but I suppose it would explain a lot about my life these days.

You never think about how the smallest thing one can say or do can turn around and have huge consequences on you and those closest to you. Not to worry, I haven't done anything I shouldn't have maybe with the exception of being too much of an optimist. I address this to noone and everyone. A man should never share things with another that he can't share with his wife but we all have those who we entrust with our deepest and sometimes darkest secrets. Trust is a strange thing, you never know who you can trust and you are always surprised when your trust is betrayed. For my part, the betrayal was in assuming that the way you and your spouse interact with each other is the way that you or your spouse would interact with others. For this I have to apologize to my wife. Unintentionally, I with the help of others have caused her pain and loss based on misunderstanding and irrational emotion. What has been lost quite possibly can never be regained and what I've lost is my optimistic take on everything and everybody.

If you're confused dont worry about it, if you're not; good. I love my wife, I trust my wife, I believe what she tells me and I know that the rules that apply to our relationship and interaction with one another do not apply to her relationships and interaction with others. From now on I will remember that before saying the first thing that comes to my head and I will place my trust where it belongs. With my wife.
